Cómo usar

Compress PDF reduces the file size of a PDF document by resampling embedded images and removing redundant data. This tool uses server-side Ghostscript processing — your file is uploaded, compressed, and deleted immediately after you download the result.

  1. Upload your PDF

Click the file input and select a PDF up to 25 MB in size. The file is sent to the server only after you click the compress button.

  2. Choose a compression preset

Select Balanced for moderate size reduction with good visual quality, or Strong for maximum compression where smaller file size matters more than image sharpness.

  3. Compress

Click the Compress button. The server processes your PDF using Ghostscript and returns a compressed file. Processing typically takes a few seconds for standard documents.

  4. Download and verify

Download the compressed PDF and check the result. The tool shows the before and after file sizes so you can confirm the reduction. If the result is unsatisfactory, try the other preset.

Note: Compression results vary by document. PDFs that already contain compressed images or minimal graphics may see little size reduction.
