Protect a PDF with password or unlock an encrypted PDF.
Input: Single PDF
Televersez un PDF, choisissez Protéger ou Déverrouiller, entrez le mot de passe et validez. Les fichiers sont envoyés au serveur et supprimés après traitement. Max 25 Mo.
Server processing: file is uploaded, processed, then deleted.
Accepte: PDF. Protéger: ajouter un mot de passe à un PDF non protégé. Déverrouiller: retirer le mot de passe d'un PDF chiffré. Les fichiers sont envoyés au serveur et supprimés après traitement. Max 25 Mo. Pas de traitement local.
Protect or unlock one PDF
Upload one PDF, choose Protect or Unlock mode, then submit with password.

Comment utiliser
Protect / Unlock PDF lets you password-protect a PDF with 256-bit AES encryption, or remove the password from an already-encrypted PDF. Files are processed on a secure server and deleted immediately after download.
- Upload your PDF
Select the PDF you want to protect or unlock. Files up to 25 MB are supported.
- Choose the mode
Select Protect to add a password, or Unlock to remove an existing password. For Unlock, you must know the current password.
- Enter the password
For Protect, type the password you want to set. For Unlock, type the current password that was used to encrypt the file.
- Process and download
Click the button to send the file to the server. Processing uses qpdf with 256-bit AES. Download the result, then confirm the protection works in your PDF viewer.
Note: Your file is uploaded to the server only for processing and is permanently deleted after you download the result.
